1 year old’s are hard to buy for, we know.
By One they have grown out of a lot of their baby toys, but they aren’t quite at the toddler stage yet.
At Baby Vegas we don’t like the idea of buying a toy that a child will outgrow in a couple of months. We love longevity from toys. After all if you buy quality toy’s they will last a lifetime time and your child can love playing with them into their toddler years just as much as they do when you first gift them.

Here are some of our favourite toys for 1 year olds:
- Wooden Blocks:
Blocks are one of the most versatile toys and provide hours of open-ended play. Children love stacking them to see how high they can get before they fall, building towering cities or comparing blocks in different colours and shapes. They could even make an obstacle course of blocks to drive cars through. Check out some great block sets here.
- Pull toys:
Children love independence. Pull toys give children independence and leadership. The joy of pulling a string and their little pet follows them along.
Children can start playing with pull toys while crawling and continue pulling their friend along behind them when they start walking. Have a look at these adorable pull along pals.
- Activity Walkers:
1 year old’s are developing their walking skills. An activity walker is a great toy to introduce before they take off running.
Walkers with added activities are fun before your 1 year old even realises it can move along the floor.
Once they start to stand, they can use their walker for support to help them take those first steps. Before long they will be running down the hallway behind their beloved walker. Find your little one a truly special walker.
- Shape Sorters:
